Sean and I celebrated the new year by visiting a local animal shelter and adopting two kittens, sisters whom we named Luna and Tess.

Obviously postings have slowed over the holiday season.

Sean and I are spending Thanksgiving with his family in South Carolina, so for the next few days, I won’t have much to post in my “cultural diary of my life in New York.”

One of the great things about living in New York is that family and friends come to visit you more often!

I write this at Orlando International Airport.

Tomorrow Sean and I have family arriving for an extended visit, so we have a busy 10 days ahead of us.

Tomorrow I start work as a production editorial assistant at a major publishing company.
