December has been a spotty month here on my blog. What with the business of the holidays, a sudden staff shortage at work, and a miserable cold, I didn’t post nearly as often as I meant to.
But now Sean and I are happily recuperating in Florida and enjoying the company of my many, many relatives. As a kid, I often grumbled about how warm Christmastime can be here, but today I’m delighted with the warm weather, a welcome respite from the chilly sleet we left back in New York.
The real pleasure of Christmas, though, is spending time with my family. They keep me busy—I probably won’t post much, if at all, until Sean and I return to New York—but I wouldn’t want to spend the holiday any other way.
In the meantime, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Look for a steadier stream of new posts in 2008.
