The past couple of weeks have been difficult, as several members of my family have been hospitalized with serious health concerns. But now everyone is home again, and I, too, am home for the holidays. I’m so grateful that those I love are on the mend, and so glad to celebrate this particularly fitting holiday with some of them. Growing up, I never paid much attention to Thanksgiving (what can I say? I don’t like turkey and dressing), but this year it means everything to me.
